Quest

A day down the road in Alnwick - Barter Books and a trip to the castle. Pretty decent visit all round, plenty of knight and princess-themed activitites for the children including drawing, crafts, dressing-up and Harry Potter-themed broomstick training on the castle lawns where several scenes in the first movie were filmed. I'm no expert on such things but it seems to draw in plenty of visitors that's for sure.

We had one of my eldest daughter's CDs on in the car today and although I'm sorely tempted to link to summat from such an undisputed classic, I'm going to play safe and go with a current favourite instead.
