OLD FRIEND

I'm f-f-f-freezing this morning. This house can often be colder inside
than out, and I'm trying to get into October before putting any
heating on. So I rely on this lovely warm shawl, knitted for me at
least 35 years ago by meles. It is never far from my shoulders, and
indeed it is wrapped around them now, as I write this. And as soon as
I've posted this blip I'm off to get some coffee and toast. Thank you,
meles, it's still in perfect condition despite me having had at least eight cats during that time, and it's still doing a grand job!
