Bird Rock Coffee

We decided to travel up historic Highway 1 on our return from San Diego instead of taking Interstate 5 like on the way down. The first order of business, once we reached La Jolla, was a cup of coffee. We bypassed the neighborhood Starbucks for Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, where their lattes and mochas come with designs in the foam and the locals gather. We paired these beautiful coffees with a delicious homemade muffin and we were soon ready for the rest of the drive to Long Beach.
