Went to the Swedish Shop for a bite in between meetings.

Outside the main entrance there was a bird sanctuary set up in a fund raising type of stall. It crossed my mind that IKEA's not an ideal environment for humans - but distinctly less so for the collective of owls, buzzards and eagles. I think this handsome chap is a Golden Eagle. He was pretty tolerant of my sticking a camera in front of him - but I wouldn't like to get on his wrong side. Might be the end of my wldlife bothering days.

The bird guy told me where they were based (West Lothian) but said that it wasn't sign posted for fear of birds getting stolen etc. I tried to google for details but couldn't find anything. Did find the following useful facts though:
