Another Deer Family

A couple of weeks ago, I was driving home from
transporting my doctor, and I thought I saw some deer in a field. I did an
abrupt u-turn, and pulled in to investigate. There were 6 deer, including maybe
a 4 point buck, 2 does, and 3 little ones. Don't ask me about the living
arrangements. I've quit trying to figure nature out.
 
I went back to my driving after a 2 week absence.
The doctor seemed happy to have me back. His broken leg is progressing well, but
he is still in a cast. Now, it is one of those that you can take on and off...so
he can at least scratch the itch.
 
It has been raining here all day. The only picture
I had taken was a rain-dripping rose. I pulled into the deers driveway. 3 were
out, and they bounded for cover. It was dark, but i got off a dozen shots. I
think Mom is telling Junior to watch the red van, and be ready to hit the woods.
Just a guess.
 
I made the mistake of telling my daughter and
son-in-law where the deer were. They visit them regularly, and I'm afraid they
will shoot the little buck. My next deer find...I'm keeping to
myself.
