The lights are on, but no one's home

Flickering candles - as electric lights seemed to harsh for my poor, enfeebled head.

(Another) day spent recovering from the joyous victory over the Aussies. Severe lack of sleep as a result and spent the early part of my waking day resembling a sleep-deprived zombie!

A bungled sortie to Costco for comfort food and booze, where neither was purchased as, in my addled state, I forgot to bring sufficient cash. Nothing like, putting back items until we had what we could pay for, in an over hot and over filled supermarket, to elevate the spirit!
