Geneva Lake with the cathedral in the background and one of the bus-boats in front. If you stay in a hotel/hostel in Geneva you get a Geneva transport card which gives you free travel on all public transport. We didn't really use this much as it's pretty walkable, but we did have a few trips on the boat!

We went for a wander round the city as we'd arrived in Geneva around 11am - the mainstay of all my pictures seems to be the Jet D'eau (which I'll include on another day), but the entire harbour was lovely. We had coffee in a littlfe harbourside cafe where the sparrows were cheeky enough to be perching on the seats next to us - some even gathered enough courage to fly to our table and pick up crumbs!

The gorgeous Russian Orthodox church with it's spires was very photogenic, along with the Reformation Wall - it's hard to choose pictures from a day with so much in it so i'll post a flickr set when I've finished going through the lot.

(We played with some conkers too!)
