got a spuggie (sparrow) in a box, bleeding slightly from where the cat had it in its mouth.

Called the SSPA (scottish society for the protection of animals) who are sending an ambulance (i kid you not) for the poor bird. He's breathing heavily and has poo'd -hopefully a good sign.

the children chased the cat with the bird hanging out of its mouth all round the house before i managed to de-bird it. The cat cant help being a cat i suppose.
