Heron

At last! another chance to get a picture of the heron on Jeffrey's Swag.

Water level is still low, so the heron was able to paddle without getting it's knees wet!!!

In the background are the two swans I followed last year as their family grew - they haven't had any young this year - maybe the draining of the pool and work on the dam wall has proved too stressful for them..: - (
