Trapped...
... mentally, that is!

Very quick bit of editing really... the main thing was to do a high contrast black and white conversion in Silver Efex Pro. Then, sharpened using a technique I went through the other day... but which I'll repeat because it's worth doing so!
The way the sharpening is done is by duplicating the background layer and then using Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask and the settings approximately as follows:
Amount: 228%
Radius: 1% (or less)
Threshold: 3
Then, click Edit > Fade unsharp mask and choose 'luminosity' blend mode. Set the layer to approx 70% opacity. The luminosity bit means that you're not affecting the colour areas, just the lighter bits and minimises the chance of having tell-tale halos around things after sharpening.
Flattened and saved.
Tip of the day:
Vaguely connected to today's image - black and white photography. But this time black and white street photography and some fabulous examples to get you drooling!
