Autumn Glory
Best viewed glorified large - definitely!
Wet, cold, windy, miserable, a small break in the rain, so I shot out as fast as my fat legs could carry me, using one of my Birthday presents for the first time - a gorillapod! Excellent for macro... but even more so, excellent hand held, as it gives you that extra support, even though the pod was leaning on me instead of the ground! This is the last of the borage - I think I've just joined the raindrop group! I used a new white balance setting on my camera for this - the tungsten filter - only because the light was dull!
I also tried it out with:
Bee & borage
And:
Clover jewels
Both other contenders for today's blip! :)
But I'm so excited & SO want Spring to come - my last Birthday present (leave the best till last) is a nest box camera! I've ALWAYS wanted one of those, I love watching the cameras on the blue tit boxes on Springwatch, watching the eggs being laid, then hatched, then the babies fed, then when they leave, fledge, go out into the big wide world... so finger's crossed, I'll be seeing some lovely touching scenes inside that box & hopefully be able to share on here too! :)
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments etc from yesterday's Delve into a delphinium
