Stanley

I think Stanley looks so cute when his ears are flattened like this. It is as though he is saying 'Just look how cute I can make myself look'.

He is such an excitable boy. When he wakes up, it is as though he has forgotten you were there and you get such a beautiful welcome from him with his whole body wagging with his tail.

This morning Lily, seen yesterday, gave us a scare. She got herself trapped between our house and next doors brick wall - a gap of about 10 inches. She couldn't understand she needed to reverse and, as she is blind and deaf she started to panic. Neither me or Si could slide down the 4 metre long gap and the wall is about 5 feet tall so we couldn't scoop her out. We were on the verge of calling the fire brigade as we just didn't know what to do. In the end Si got a long plank of wood and some how we pushed her back. It took about 15 minutes.

Thank goodness she was fine when we got her out. Poor Lily :(

This week is a four day week for me - yippee!! Only 3 days to go, 2 of which are in London. I think that is reason enough to have a glass of wine :)
