A good race
On the surface it may seem to be a bit of a cheat to photograph an image taken yesterday to post it today. But then my story of today was working on yesterdays images . So I thought it fair game. Specially as there was little inclination to get creative. But even better there is a real story to this image from yesterday. Me who doesn't watch the TV news so much didn't recognise that I had photographed the famous. You may indeed say how could you not recognise one of NZ's most recognisable faces. This is Tame Iti, well known in these parts as a Maori activist, having recently had terrorist charges dropped against him and 14 others. He stopped for a brief chat, he was walking as his broken ribs were giving him trouble riding up the hill. Fair enough I reckon.
