Tarbert, Loch Fyne

A glorious day , warm and sunny ,beautiful blue skies with interesting clouds. We headed to Kilmartin Glen as planned to see the Motorcross Championships. All was quiet when we got there so we alled in at a friend's house halfway up the glen to discover that the event had been cancelled on Thursday due to bad weather. You would have thought that the local radio station could have been given this info but there you go that's how things happen ( or don't ) aroundhere.

Nothing daunted we cut back round the loch to Ardrishaig and on down to Tarbert for the end of their Music Festival. Busy with lots of happy people there all enjoying the bans playing at the pier where the fishing boats were berthed. I thought I might have got some candid street shots but didn't see anything interesting, the bands were playing inside the marine building which was a dark concrete box with nothing of visual interest. So I had a wander along the pier and got this typical shot of the fishing boats behind which you can see all the masts of the expensive yachts berthed at the marina on the other side of the bay.

Had a grand time and got back very late hence the late upload.
