Random acts of kindness

So not necessarily the prettiest of blips, but I had to make this shot my blip of the day. I was in the supermarket looking for a pick me up and decided to treat myself to some nice coffee. Some kind little person left $2 off coupons that they'd cut out of the newspaper and put next to the Starbucks instant.

I decided to take advantage of anonymous nice person's offer and use the coupon. unfortunately I realised when I was in another store that I'd forgotten to pick up my change from the self service checkout. So I hurried back on the off chance it was still there. It wasn't. But staff lady told me someone had handed it in and my $5 was at the service desk.

People are nice! Have to say, not sure that I'd have been good enough to hand in a forgotten $5 bill. ;)
