Cruise Liner Visits

The weather just didn't look promising enough to travel to the west coast of Scotland to see the kite surfers at the Scottish Wind Fest. Besides I had got 'wind' of the RMS Queen Mary 2 visiting town.

The ship was mid stream, riding at anchor, service boats ferrying passengers to and from the pier at South Queensferry. There were camera and binocular sporting folk, all over the place. Rain was in attendance too.

So, how does one treat a much photographed venue (Forth Rail Bridge) when the subject was not the most flatteringly positioned, in rain and varying visibility? Badly, I guess. Do see it large.
