Latest thing in Rio

Windy today and a bit chilly out the sun, but in the sun it reached 28 degrees. Walked from our studio along the front in Copacanana along to Ipanema - lovely walk. On Sundays the front's closed to traffic, so even nicer and there's so much going on and great for people watching. Today there was a peaceful protest walk in Copa for 'tolerence of all religious beliefs' and supported by hundreds all dressed in white. Nearly put a shot of that on, but I spent a good 20 mins watching these rope walkers and enjoyed it, so this shot won the day. Bb's now in Miami till Saturday, so I always have a 'getting to feel comfortable in a new place on my own' phase, and this is the first time I've stayed in our wee studio alone. Our fridge seems to have a life of its own and makes all sorts of noises which kept wakening me up during the night and sounded too much like somebody at the door for my liking! Still in Ipanema at a place with wifi and off in search of food now!
