Ocean Beach

My big brother, Michael, is in town! He drove down from Portland, Oregon so we could finally meet...after 28 years! It was so nice to spend the time with him.

We started the day off with lunch at Sushi Deli, downtown. My favorite sushi spot! Then we headed down to Ocean Beach for the day, (where they're staying). We cruised Newport, and stopped by Sunset Cliffs, (where I shot this picture).

I walked barefoot across the rocks to get to a secluded little beach...thanks to the brotherly encouragement! ;) I snapped this shot right before embarking...a friendly reminder: "No alcohol on the beach" - thank you SD college kids.

On the way back, we walked through the Farmer's Market and enjoyed some delicious cookies, and live entertainment. We topped the night off with a visit with our good friends, Jeff & Melissa, who are lucky enough to live down there! :)
