Grandad

I think I want my house to look like my Grandad's when I'm older. A kitchen littered with photos of family and friends and a lounge with walls covered in my work.

I've never really asked him about when he became an artist before, and was quite surprised to find he didn't start going to evening classes until he was 30. Given that in my head Grandad is 'the artist' (and a mighty fine one at that) to find he didn't start taking it seriously until that late in his life was something I did not expect. He studied Physics at degree Mum told me...!

So, I shall start putting more effort into drawing/painting/printing now, and maybe one day I'll have even a fraction of the skill and talent that he has.
