Bucket List Strike One

Bought a boat today, always fancied one and it wasnt a lot of money. Its a little scruffy and needs a little tidying, but it goes and Im sure it will be a lot of fun for a couple of seasons. Here is a strike for the bucket list.

I would have been out with it after I picked it up to try it out, but the tide was low and the rain was coming in, so I trailered it to dads house as he will store it at his place for the time being and potter with it. in his spare time

He tells me that his mate Eric is coming to visit soon from Australia and Dad is made up.

Gets home and we go down to Connies mums to pick up the kids, where I get the why do you want a boat routine from Linda.

Lauren is there with an almighty hangover and is convinced that when she woke up in her back garden at stupid oclock she was accompanied by a moo-ing cow. I check just in case their is a bovine beast in the back garden but luckily it seems to have gone home.

Connie tells me that she has had to kill a massive tarantula spider today and I tell her that Im surprised the dragon didnt eat it. This doesnt go down very well.

Colin and Maria pop in for hair of the dog and Colin is suitably humiliated after last nights Heres to you Mrs Robinson routine. Stiflers Mom.

Lazy day today I think.
