Apple Butter

My very first batch of Apple Butter and even if I say so myself it tastes very good indeed. I tried some on toast and it was as if I was breathing in and tasting an orchard. I will make more. I also made a spelt fruit cake with a couple of pears grated in. If you think I waxed lyrical about my apple butter don't read any further because the cake was sublime. Light, but rich with real depth. If ever a cake were to be described as seductive, then this is the one.
