Home Again
This is the Craftsman style house where I grew up. It was completed in 1925 when my Dad was a year old. He grew up there , eventually brought home his city wife and there they raised us(four daughters), plus grain, some chickens and a few cows. After my Mom died he moved into the city but maintained a farm garden in summertime. This year he hasn't really felt up to the garden part. Now my sister and her partner live there and keep the place in tiptop shape.
Today the ever growing family was out for a corn roast. Dad, daughters, partners, grandchildren, partners and their kids. Dogs are now required to stay at home or in vehicles because there are just too many of them and they don't all understand the happy extended family concept.
