Name that mushroom

If I had checked my book, I would have known whether or not it could have been my dinner tonight. But as I don't know much beyond bog standard champignons de Paris, chanterelles and a couple of others, it was not to be.

I spotted it while looking for brambles and I have to say, it has been a poor year for brambles, too much rain. I suppose it depends where you look.

Full house tonight, sleepover central, all entertaining stuff.
