She's gone

At last the day arrived and she is pretty excited.

We filled the car, and I mean filled it, with nearly all her worldly possessions and headed off to St Andrews University. We have deposited our first born in the halls ready for freshers week, hopefully followed by fours years of study, fun and social development which will set her up for life. Its starts tonight with a 'Foam Party', you can imagine how much fun that will be!!

She is well prepared for life away, her mother has seen to that with every conceivable thing a girl could want, supplied, packed and unpacked at the other end. She is so well stocked with stuff we joked that she could be the Morgan Freeman character from Shawshank, if you want something, my girl can get it for you!

We are so very very proud of her and we are sure she will love it in St Andrews. She is already a wonderful young woman and this next stage of her life will be simply amazing.

She usually reads my blips when she gets a chance so the last thing I will say is, you better keep in touch with your Mum, or else!! LOL. xxx
