I think days were you can't decide between images for your blip are almost as frustrating as days you don't know what to blip!

Lovely afternoon walk with my two boys - such a treat having James here to join us too. Early in on our walk the farmer was planting the new crop, so there were 7 of these beauties circling around. Not quite as close as I would have liked, but I was really delighted that I may have bagged my first bird blip.

However as we approached one tree hill the light was quite extraordinary. Inky blue sky, golden light on the stubble and the sun shining directly on the trunk.

So first bird blip or extraordinary light???

I'm not showing James as I know he'll go for the bird ;-)

And I'm going to gamble I'll get another bird, whereas I don't think I'll get that light again!

Relaxing on the sofa now beckons. After the log stacking last night, a very painful session with Mr Scary this morning, painting the ceiling after our bathroom leak and a long walk I reckon I deserve it!
