Lake Vernwy........Wales

Thaks for all the comments and congrats for yesterdays 300th!!It even made the Spotlight Page...so thanks!! On for gold....

we went for a lovely drive to and round Lake Vernwy, about 50 minutes drive from us...the drive took us along mountains and valleys....in sunshine and rain...

the little tower on the right side of the Lake is a straining tower....

round the lake and en route to it, there are loads of lovely small and bigger waterfalls coming down from the mountains, supplying the Lake.

When it gets to full the dam regulates the water level.....
