Happy birthday.

Happy 3rd birthday yesterday to my little grandaughter K - Care Bear.

With a new baby just 2 days old, my daughter had ordered special birthday cupcakes for her birthday. Care Bear K enjoyed them but then said that tomorrow she would have her proper Peppa Pig birthday cake. She had mentioned for the past week or so when it was her big brother K's birthday (see 7th Sept) that she wanted Peppa Pig for a birthday cake. No-one had the heart to tell her we were all too tired after the few previous days with the baby's birth.

Well on her actual birthday Daddy and K beat and cooked the cake together.

After she had gone to bed, Daddy cut out the cake shape and iced it. I'm very, very, impressed because I think he did an amazing job.

When she woke this morning she was thrilled and so, so excited.

We sang happy birthday again this afternoon... even though her birthday was yesterday. The cake made her day.

Well done Daddy!!!
