Having lunch with the force

We travelled down from London to Shanklin (Isle of Wight) last night. We are spending the weekend down here. Seeing someone else enjoying fish and chips, and having walked for miles along the beach, we popped into the Steamer Inn for some of our own. We were very quickly joined by Darth Vader and his mum. Lord Vader showed me how to use the dark side of the force by demonstrating the strangle grip before his mum dragged him off to the soft play area.

The fish and chips were perfect, as was the beer.

I should add that the idea is to sell pairs of yesterday's shoes (for wearing) after the exhibition. Apparently they are 'sort of' comfortable.
