Day of mixed fortunes.

Spent an awful lot of the day liaising with my server support team today, solving problems! Apparently, my wp-config.php file wasn't set up correctly and was trying to connect with the wrong sql database, which I didn't config of course. Done automatically!

Hang on....no, it's not that...it's because this new server was only set up to allow one database, so they reset it to unlimited databases.

Ah!. OK. That'll be alright then....

.....hang on, now getting the error : Access denied for user 'webman'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /tmp/cpanel_phpengine.1316188279.9555FhIx2cRlHp.

...oh he thought I'd loaded the software via ftp! "You're doing it with Fantastico!?" he said. That'll be because he told me to do it with Fantastico,...like I'd know how to do it any other way! Still, silly me for not knowing.

I wish I was Tom sometimes. When someone tries to make him look stupid, he asks them how to make a souflé! When they stutter, he advises them he's a chef, suggests they ask him when they want to know and, in the meantime, asks his question again politely recommending they answer in a magnanimous tone as he is bestowing on them the mantle of 'expert' in their particular field!

As a creative....well everyone thinks they're creative!

Had a good day trading though! Passed the time whilst I was waiting for techie geeks to come back to me! Then found myself down at Hampton Court as the sun was going down so nipped out to take a blip for tonight. Tried to set up and realised I had left my tripod socket head on my desk. Doh!

So, apologies it's a bit shakey with the long exposures and all. I had to rely on resting on a fence post. Tricky! Oh, and then just as I was ready...a boat sailed on by!
