Brian Wilson at the Festival Hall re-imagining Gershwin for the first half before Beach Boy Classics and a bit of rock and roll was a great way to start the weekend. The seats were rubbish but music was infectious. The first bit with Gershwin classics was a bit bizarre, like being trapped in a very big lift and at points very wrong but the second half got us off our seats. There is certainly some life in the old dog yet!
