bridget riley's eyesight

More work into the kiln today for the slow burn. The exam board demands that all clay work is fired.

The one at the front took hours to empty of the wadding that was inside it - paper, plastic tape, string - you name it, she had used it to build a form and then the clay is WAFER thin around it. The big one at the back (it's not still wet it just looks it in the photo) is still full of paper (just paper I hope) as it is constructed in such a way as to be impossible to remove. I even tried sticking one of the schoolkeepers litter-pickers up it but it was too packed.

So anyone in the vicinity of the school should expect a fire alarm tomorrow as there will be a lot of smoke and worried members of the Senior Management Team!
