Goodbye to a long week!

This week has felt like the longest week in history (I know that all weeks are the same length but this one has felt worse!)

Ian has been away in Greenland all week (he will be back tomorrow lunchtime!) and my Mother has been away in France (she doesn't get back until Tuesday) and it has been a week of running around and meetings - however they are over now and I wish that I had had the foresight to pick up a bottle of wine whilst shopping earlier because a glass would be very welcome - once Bears friend who came over for tea has been picked up and the children are in bed!!

It has definitely been a mixed week though - Bear has been invited on two courses on separate weekends and on a maths challenge next week (This made me a very proud Mummy) and then Kirsten came home from school today with a Star Pupil certificate (This made me an even prouder Mummy!).
