Back Alley

So it's my birthday today. Another year in the can as they say; and a particularly stressful one at that. I'm not one that likes to make a fuss on these days so today was really just another day at work. The weather was also fairly rubbish.

I did get some good bike-related presents though and the shiny new bluray box set of Star Wars (I'm a geek at heart). Both my boys were clever enough to get me cards (I'm amazed how similar and neat their writing is) and Finlay enjoyed helping to unwrap everything. Tonight Susie and I are off out for a drink for the first time since Brody arrived. It will be nice to get out; even if it is just a quick dash to the pub down the road and back!
