Uninspiring

What a dull day. A complete contrast from yesterday. I don't think i have a hope in hell of capturing anything much on the moor this afternoon so i'm blipping this photo from earlier.

The sheep must get lonely up there at night in the dark. If i were them i'd get pretty scared once the sun had set. Saying that in the winter i do go up there with a torch which is really fun!

Finally posted off all my items i sold on ebay. About 40 in all. I have become a regular at the post office but i didnt realise how much postage is these days! I think after Paypal and Ebay and the post office take their share of the funds i will have only raised £30 hardly seems worth it for all the effort. Still at least i didnt just bin it all. That would have been a waste. I might give it to a charity shop next time or better still not buy stuff in the first place

Well my two weeks at the parents is up. Ive spring cleaned the house and bought in a pizza and chocolate for their return. Unfortunately i found a wee on a rug which isn't going to go down well especially as i tried to wash it and its now completely destroyed.

Finally got my boiler fixed. Turns out because i hardly use it it had broken.....still worth it monthly gas bills of about £3!

Oh and now for a product warning. I bought some North Face trainers three months ago but they are already falling apart so i took them back to the shop and got a credit note which im happy about. I obviously forgot to tell them that i use them everyday and machined washed them.....still thats what shoes are for right? But this happened to my other North Face shoes a few years ago. So if you are going to get any new shoes stear clear of NF. I should really take my own advise. I just bought some for winter but these are gortex ones so i'm hoping they will last. If not i have the receipt.

Update Just come back from a three hour shower walk an i can confirm my full waterproof suit works. I did get concerned about being on the top of the moor in the thunderstorm though. I wish i'd had my rubber shoes on
