this inorganic object suddenly struck me as organic. i quite like it on its side which is how it popped up on the computer.

at work i chatted to one person who felt encouraged by my chatter and to another who made me feel encouraged and excited. not a day of tangible achievements - and i know that the invisible deadlines can't be ignored for much longer - but a day of warmth and humour.

feeling sleep deprived from a bedwetter who i hope will learn one day soon how not to pee in the night but who can write a six line story in his jotter and read it back to his mum.

feeling change around the corner as carpetbiter1 pretends to shave her legs in the bath.
