Haka Riverbed

I had an unexpected & enjoyable trip down to Kurow Bridges this morning with Doug which was nice, lovely sunny morning but a freezing wind coming off the fresh snow. We are expecting another cool change later today, the weather is so changeable - I suppose it is typical Spring stuff.

This is the Hakataramea River, not much of a flow at this time, it empties into the mighty Waitaki River. Take a look in large.

We are going out for dinner tonight incorporating with watching the A.B's playing Japan (who are coached by ex A.B. John Kirwan), it will be a win, but just how easy remains to be seen.
