A Heavy Hitter

After shooting buffalo, elk, antelope, geysers,
presidents faces, and waterfalls, it was a little depressing to have to post a
bee, although it is a pretty bee. But, alas...all vacations are highly
anticipated, and all vacations have to come to an end.

We travelled 4635 miles in 10 days. I don't care
who you are...that's a lot of driving. I feel like a trucker who has trucked a
load of lumber across the country. My rear end and legs are screaming to me to
stay out of the car for a few days.

It was a great trip...seeing a lot of the mountains
in the west. The national parks were outstanding, although very crowded. I
thought by waiting until after Labor Day that they would be less crowded. Wrong.
Still...all in all...a nice trip.

I have a little over 3000 pictures to sift through.
I hope to back-blip real soon, but I know we are watching the little man( my
grandson) for the next couple of days. He demands constant attention...so it
will be hard to work on my pics. I also hope to catch up on some of my favorite
journals in the next few days.

The bee was really working over these flowers. It
was real hard to get a good picture. The wind was blowing so hard...that by the
time you focused...the plant would be out of your frame.
