Peach Fuzz

Stopped in at the Peoria Road Gardens fruit stand the other day and bought some beautiful peaches. The sign they had on the peach table made me laugh.

It said "Please Don't Squeeze the Peaches. Not Even a Little."

The gal operating the stand said she put it up because a gentleman (or not so gentle man) had picked up a couple peaches and was 'weighing' them by lifting one hand up and the other down and vice versa while squeezing them. She said 'Please don't squeeze the peaches' and he said he wasn't as he kept doing it. So she said, 'Not even a little'. I neglected to ask if he bought them or not. Probably not, as no one likes to buy bruised peaches. ;-)
