Culbin Sands and Forest

For the last day of our campervan holiday, we gave ourselves a real treat and spent the day at Culbin Sands and Forest, an extensive, beautiful and remarkable area of dunes and planted pine forest. The forest is full of lichens, heather and fungi. We had our first sunshine for a few days this afternoon and the dappled light falling through the trees was wonderful. A beautiful and biodiverse place to which we'll definitely return.
