Creepy moth

I found this on my rotary washing line and it just sat there all day, I think it was asleep! Even when I put the line down it stayed still so I thought maybe it was dead. When I rattled the line it woke up and flew away. It's a bit creepy because there appear to be skulls on its pattern - or is that just me? Overtired maybe? I haven't been drinking, honest!

I had a day at home today, doing jobs mainly. I went swimming this morning and managed to get up to 110 lengths. My body felt that extra 10 though and I was shattered when I got home. I cooked roast chicken for tea as my dad came over. We had leeks and they brought out the taste of the chicken, mmmm, yum! My eldest made a chocolate cake for pudding with melted chocolate on the top; it was gorgeous.

My dad's eye is getting a bit better each day. He is managing to rest, doctor's orders, but is beginning to get a bit bored now as he is used to being very active. I can't believe it's a week since he had the op.
