Further afield....only just.

This is the park just next to my street. It's only small, but on a nice day like today it has a very slight Central Park feel about it(!) So on my way home from Sainsbury's (I went to buy some coriander, as I'll be making Falafels for my new housemates tonight), I hopped of the bike to try and capture one of the prettier scenes in Rusholme.

I know I really need to start heading further afield for my pictures. I prefer the grittier style of architecture and street photography, and we have that in abundance here, so once I have built up my confidence a bit (both with the camera and my surroundings) I will give it a go.
