Pickering steam train station has had a bit of renovation work done so I had a wander in to see what they've done. I spotted this great replica 1940s newspaper kiosk on the opposite platform. My first instinct was to make it black-and-white or maybe sepia - but then I thought, what would it have looked like back in the day? Shiny and new and green :-)
