What a sight

Lucky to be living within 3 miles from The Red Arrows home base of Raf Scampton I took the opportunity today to go to the end of the runway in order to watch the display rehearsal.

This Mother and Daughter were also there, totally mesmerised by these fine Pilots as they went through their paces with a Black Hawk Aircraft in the lead.

Mixed emeotions watching today knowing that there is one ace pilot missing from the Nine but so proud to be able to stand literally within metres of them flying over our heads.

Truly this is the RAF at its absolute best.
