True colours

My orchids are dieing. They are also dyed. DH bought me flowers last weekend and whilst I'm not a great fan of dyed flowers the blue orchids did look impressive with the yellow daffodils and purple iris. It's interesting to see though that as the orchids are dying off their true colours are shining through. Patches of pink are appearing on the dead petals and the new buds that have opened are the natural pink colour. It makes for a pretty colour mix.
