Colours

A young woman outside the subway station got my attention, she had a sign with Lieutenant Pinkerton. She was standing still as a statue.

Later I read that there were girls sent out around the city making publicity for the new production of Mme Butterfly in town.
"We have in our set relocated the play room into modern Japan and it feels natural to move the opera's basic theme in real life here in Stockholm. My hope is that through this grip we succeed in arousing the curiosity of people who do not usually think of opera."
