Nice weather for ducks (and herons)

Quite a surprise to see a heron in Queens Park pond today. Sadly the grotty weather continues, not that that's even remotely surprising. I think this is the third time I've used a variant of this title (are you detecting a theme) and am particularly proud that this time there actually are ducks in the picture! I also notice the fading light, meaning high noise, not helped by me having only had my wee camera with me today. I don't enjoy the months and months when I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, it feels like I have no life.
