Tuesday: Vintage

I am on a course at the moment, so when we broke for lunch, I wandered up to Cecil Court for a spot of book browsing.  They have fantastic first editions there, beautiful editions from the 1950s complete in dust jackets etc.  Hugely expensive, sadly, so all I do can is gaze longingly.

Cool postcards, though, and makes me wish I knew more about the old entertainment era. Half these names mean nothing to me.  I do like the sound of Winifred Atwell and Tessa Smallpace.  I wish to combine the two and henceforth be known as Winifred Smallpace......

I am afraid I will be a little comment light this week, what with my course 'n all.........
