Focus

First full day of school for my youngest which now means both children out of the house until mid-afternoon and me having a couple of days a week to work from home. Surrounded by vinyl, ebay listing ahoy and boxes of 7"s, 12"s and albums of all genres known to mankind to keep me going through the winter. That's the plan anyway. Focus and concentration needed (with a lunch hour allowed to take in the obligatory post office excursion and a swim of indeterminate length chucked in for good measure).

All this activity soundtracked by a variety of female ambient electronic types. A bit of Grouper, some Julia Holter and The Motion Sickness Of Time Travel. And of course, when Rachel Evans isn't recording as the former she sits down with her husband Grant and makes some more equally delightful tunes under a different moniker. Looking forward to plenty more Quiet Evenings to come.
