This is Venus perched on Erin's shoulder I think she is a Little Corella.

Erin looks after injured native animals until they can be released.
Venus was released ages ago but decided to stay at Erin's in the aviary she shares with her one winged boyfriend. Every few days she flies off to hang out with the local Little Corellas but then heads back to Erin's and cuddles with the boyfriend.

Erin was also nursing a six month old wombat who's mother had been run over - it will be another year before the wombat can be released.
