Ducati 1198S

One of the sales guys at work recently bought this dream bike. It was up for it's first service today and while they were there they fitted some new aftermarket pipes. At idle it makes the ground under your feet rumble.

It is a speeding fine waiting to happen.

Believe it or not, the engine in this bike is based on the engine in mine...except that it is double the size. As for the price tag? Forget double. In fact forget your credit card limit. This is is the Ferrari of roadbikes. I could buy the BMW superbike for nearly half the price of this bike... and the BMW is more powerful!

Still, it is a Ducati, a fine Italian machine.
